Zac Cawdron gives his powerful testimony at the WA thank you luncheon.

The Salvation Army Western Australia recently hosted their annual Christmas Thank You lunch for supporter and donors. Hosted by Crown Perth, the luncheon was an expression of gratitude to those major donors and supporters who contributed to the Salvos’ valuable work in 2024. Major Scott Ellery compered the event. 

A Welcome to Country by Di Ryder began the events, followed by opening remarks from Warren Palmer, External Communications Manager - WA. Team members spoke about the community impact across the year, and testimonial speaker, Zac Cawdron, shared a powerful story of transformation. 

A musical performance from Major Aaron Stobie marked the mood of the Christmas season, as did a message from Major Brad Potter, Divisional Commander. Guests enjoyed carols performed by a brass band, and an all-in Christmas quiz. 

Guests included State, Federal and local governments, philanthropic organisations, schools, businesses, community groups, private citizens and media.
