It's been 15 months since Russia invaded Ukraine on 24 February 2022. Captain Oleg Samoilenko, a Ukrainian Salvation Army officer serving in Poland, remembers the day only too well. Below Oleg shares some of the terror of that day, the ongoing help The Salvation Army in Poland and other countries bordering Ukraine (and beyond) are giving Ukrainian refugees, and his hopes for a peaceful future.
