Salvos Story: Bendigo Salvos Women's Shed

At the Bendigo Salvos Women’s Shed, empowerment and craftsmanship go hand in hand. Kylie has volunteered here for 18 years and says it’s a “good community” that looks after each other, making it a “safe place to be”. From letterboxes to elaborate dog beds, the women are free to be creative and learn new skills while being supported. This has built an environment of warmth and togetherness.
