Refugee Week 2023: Hope and a Future

Lisa grew up in a refugee camp after her family fled war in her home country of Liberia. For 16 years, she and her family endured unimaginable challenges, but through it all she kept faith that God had a good plan.

After coming to Australia, Lisa completed school and today is a registered nurse. Lisa's great desire is to make a difference in the lives of those who have less. She has purchased land in Liberia and is building a clinic to bring affordable health care.
