· Pray for SMMT Territory
Each week throughout 2025 year, Salvationists around the world are uniting in prayer for a particular territory or region of The Salvation Army.
Prayer requests are shared by the focus territory/region to help us pray with precision and power for one another.
This week (13-19 January] we are praying for the Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand Territory.
The territory is made up of 2837 senior soldiers, 380 adherents and 455 junior soldiers. There are 57 corps, 12 outposts, 184 officers (145 active and 39 retired), 4 envoys, 20 cadets and 864 employees.
Pray for Singapore:
· Pray for Singapore as we celebrate our 90th anniversary in 2025.
· Pray for God’s continuing favour with his Spirit leading, people coming to faith and soldiers called into officership.
Pray for Malaysia:
· Pray that The Salvation Army’s programs and services will effectively address the needs of the marginalised, including the elderly, children, youth and families in crisis, and for further integration of social and corps ministries.
· Pray for sustainability initiatives to provide needed resources.
Pray for Myanmar:
· Give thanks for God's protection and health during these difficult times, enabling us to continue his ministries amidst hardship. Nine quarters were made unsafe and two corps buildings burnt.
· Pray for the smooth continuation of our work and ministries with all employees and officers this year, especially planning future corps openings.
Pray for Thailand:
· Pray for the continued growth of the corps in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai with further expansion.
· Pray for more new soldiers in Thailand.
· Pray for us as we work to establish a corps in Bangkok and develop our social ministry.
