•  Pray for Norway, Iceland and The Færoes Territory




Each week throughout 2025 year, Salvationists around the world are uniting in prayer for a particular territory or region of The Salvation Army.

The focus territory/region shares prayer requests to help us pray with precision and power for one another.

 

This week (10-17 March] we are praying for the way, Iceland and The Færoes Territory.


The territory is led by Commissioners Knud David and Lisbeth Welander. There are 310 officers (143 active, 167 retired), 5 cadets, 92 corps and 295 outposts. There are 4030 senior soldiers and 1952 adherents; and 1564 employees.

Prayer requests:

· Pray for new people, children, youth and adults to come to us and feel at home, get to know Jesus and become his disciples and members in The Salvation Army.


· Pray for all those who are coming to our welfare centres and corps for help in a difficult time with rising costs. We pray that they also will feel valuable and seen.

· Pray for God’s help to open our communities for immigrants and refugees and strengthen our commitment outside our own countries.

· Pray for all officers, staff and volunteers who meet these people on the frontline. We pray for courage, strength and blessing.

·  Pray for our SA Congress in June 2025 and for the Homeless World Cup in August 2025, a football tournament with purpose, arranged by The Salvation Army in our territory.
