• International Prayer – Caribbean

The newly commissioned officers from the Defenders of Justice session of the Caribbean Territory.

Each week throughout this year, Salvationists around the world are uniting in prayer for a particular territory or region of The Salvation Army.

Prayer requests are shared by the focus territory/region to help us pray with precision and power for one another.

This week (1-7 July) we are praying for the Caribbean Territory. Countries included in this territory include Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, French Guiana, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Maarten, St Vincent, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and the Turks and Caicos Islands.

·       We thank God for his protection and provision during the unrest in Haiti. Despite the violent uprising, many people accepted Christ, and the gospel continued to spread.

Please pray for:

·       The ongoing development of men's ministries throughout the territory.

·       That young people in the Caribbean, especially in English and Dutch-speaking areas, respond positively to God's call to be officers.

·       Divine guidance as the territory develops its 2025-2030 strategic plan.

·       A powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit during the Suriname District Centennial Celebration scheduled for 5-13 October 2024.

·       Divine wisdom, knowledge, understanding, insight and foresight for the new leadership team as they embark on their tenure.
