• High Council countdown
Readers can now mark the days until the High Council members arrive at Sunbury Court in south west London with an interactive calendar on The Salvation Army International website.
Starting on Monday 24 April (London time), return to the above page each day and click on the relevant ‘days to go’ tile for a new fact about the High Council, prayer or reflection.
After gathering at Sunbury Court, council members will travel to London for the Welcome to the 2023 High Council on Saturday 20 May.
High Council formally commences on Monday 22 May. Council members will spend time in prayer and discussion before engaging in the solemn task of electing the next General.
