I grew up in Nagercoil, India, raised by my grandparents, while my parents worked as nurses in Muscat, Oman.
I am the eldest of three siblings. My grandfather, a Lutheran priest, and grandmother raised me and taught me the word of God. Later, I became an occupational therapist and worked in a few countries – India, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, where I met my husband.
After migrating to Perth, Australia, my plan to work as an occupational therapist faced challenges. Despite this, I found peace in God’s faithfulness, remembering his past provisions.
I felt like my career had come to an end, and as I was settling down as a housewife, I had an unexpected, profound encounter with Jesus.
This led me to delve deeper into the Bible and pursue theological studies.
God opened doors for me one by one. Although each step felt uncertain and like a mystery, I stepped forward in faith, which eventually led to officership training.
Looking back, everything makes sense now, and I am forever grateful for this new life with great purpose and work.
Bible verse: “He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armour and protection” (Psalm 91:4, NLT).
