I was lucky enough to know the peace and serenity of God’s love even as a child because of my family’s love for God.
I call on the strength of God and ask others to pray for me to be able to reflect him in all I do. I pray to foster a relationship with Christ in others so they, too, come to know the risen Saviour as Lord.
I felt the call into a life of service and ministry from about age 17. I allowed the needs of the world to dictate my earlier career paths.
I had faith in God, but now I wonder at the limits I placed on what I believed God would do in and through my life. I know now that every step has led me back to this.
As Psalm 85:8 says, “I will listen to what God the Lord says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants – but let them not turn to folly.”
Bible verse: “Be energetic in your life of salvation, reverent and sensitive before God. That energy is God’s energy, an energy deep within you, God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure” (Philippians 2:13, The Message).
