The Salvation Army’s Women’s Ministries team at International Headquarters are inviting everyone to join them in celebrating International Women’s Day (8 March) by honouring the “incredible stories of women who live with purpose and passion” at their exhibition ‘Women Who Hope’.

This online and physical exhibition is “a powerful celebration of empowerment, resilience, and the extraordinary journeys of women who inspire us all. The Salvation Army’s hope for women is big and bold. We long to see lives transformed and empowered by the life-changing message of Jesus, enriched through local and global connections, equipped to fulfil their potential and engaged in social justice and action to positively impact the world.”

‘Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer’ (Romans 12:12).

“Hope is a light to those it touches,” says the team. “Hope perseveres to find the good. It sees the person past the stigma. It casts a vision of possibility amid ruins and rubble. Hope continues to love and to care, even when the road is long and difficult. Hope believes for something better.

“Our hope is found in Jesus.”
