To coincide with International Women’s Day (Saturday 8 March), the Australian Embassy in Poland prepared special gifts for the ladies from The Salvation Army Warsaw Corps seniors club and girls from the after-school project.

Ambassador Benjamin Hayes – whose stepfather was part of The Salvation Army – and his team presented the gifts to the Warsaw Corps Officers, Captains Dominika Domanska and Oleg Samoilenko, on Thursday 7 March.

 

“We are extremely grateful and happy for this cooperation … and the warm conversation,” said Oleg.
