Anzac Day wrap 2024

Major Brett Gallagher, Chief Commissioner of Red Shield Defence Services (2nd left) joined Majors Ashley and Bronwyn Barkmeyer and Salvationists in Brisbane for the Anzac Day March.

From Hobart to Cairns, Adelaide to Darwin and Sydney to Perth, Salvation Army bands, soldiers, volunteers and a range of supporters commemorated Anzac Day around the nation. Officers and chaplains led prayers, bands played, and adults and children marched. Some corps hosted breakfasts, others joined local events and participated in community activities.

It was a day of remembering, reflecting and respect. And deep gratitude.
